Aroids and Other Exotic Tropical Plants
These are primarily rainforest understory foliage plants (some with flowers) available at Zone Ten. They are suitable for shade, and greenhouse growing and as houseplants. Some will grow in full sun. (There are some non-aroids on this page as well.) Photo gallery.

Tom White's Books
Tom has three books out at present (available in hardcover or paperback): "A Panama Journal", which describes his adventures in the highlands of western Panama. is It is 144 pages long and contains over 30,000 words of text along with over 400 color photos. The companion volume of coffee table size photos is Chiriqui - The Valley of the Moon. The third is a collection of Tom's artwork inspired by living forms and is therefore entitled "Biomorphs". If you click on the names of the books, you can preview a portion of them online. You can also order them, if you like.
